Махмуд Халиль аль-Хусари один из ранних представителей известнейших чтецов Корана современности. Стиль чтения, который до сих пор помогает новичкам в заучивании Корана. Простота чтения, четкость дикции и произношения Корана лучше всего помогает именно тем, кто только начал заучивание Корана.

Махмуд Халиль аль-Хусари родился в первых числах месяца Зуль-Хиджи в 1335 году, что соответствует 17 сентября 1917 года в деревне Шибра ан-Намля. Махмуд Халиль аль-Хусари родом из Египта, был искусным чтецом Корана по десяти вариантам чтения.

К восьми годам Махмуд знал полный текст Корана наизусть. Махмуд Халиль аль-Хусари известен своим красивым голосом и четким произношением. Он был первым, кто записал полный текст Корана на аудионоситель по чтению Хафса от Асыма.
